Energy advisory

Energy has been the main activity area of our company since starting the business in 1993. Our objective is to help our clients to find sustainable solutions to both big or small energy-related problems which may arise in different phases of project development. On daily basis we provide our clients with unbiased and innovative advice with energy related possibilities like hydrogen, solar, wind, biomass, fuel conversion, district heating, co-generation and many other areas. We are the first choice to our clients and partners within energy.

Owner`s engineering services

Owner’s engineering and project management consulting services have been offered since 2001 when renovation of big scale power production capacities started. Since then, our team members have constantly participated in the construction of various power plants and heat only boiler houses in different locations which has enabled us to develop and practice our competences. Acquired long term experience enable us to offer high quality home office and on-site services like document control, mechanical, welding, electrical, I&C, construction and SHEQ (safety, health, environmental and quality) supervision. Our project management capabilities have been proved in various EPCM (engineering, procurement, construction management) projects throughout the Baltics and overseas.

Environmental advisory

Since the beginning of our business, environmental services have been continuously developing and includes carbon footprint and sustainability advisory, environmental due diligence and audits, environmental impact assessments, public health impact assessments, integrated pollution prevention and control permitting, allowed emissions calculation, assessment and prediction of environmental noise, odors and also wind farm noises and flickering. Our newest service is hydro-geological investigations and calculations.

Greenhouse gas emissions reports verification

Nomine Consult OÜ is greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reports official verification body, accredited by Estonian Accreditation Centre since 2012. Accreditation scope is verification of greenhouse gas emissions reports according to Atmospheric Air Protection Act, EU ETS Directive 2003/87/EC and Commission Regulation (EU) No. 2018/2067 in categories of activities as 1a (combustion of fuels in installations, where only commercial standard fuels as defined in Regulation (EU) No 2018/2066 are used or where natural gas is used in category A or B installations), 1b (combustion of fuels in installations, without restrictions), 2 (refining of oil), 6 (production of lime) and 98 (other activities pursuant to article 10a of Directive 2003/87/EC).

About us

Nomine Consult is consulting and advisory company with offices in Tallinn and Võru, Estonia and in Vilnius, Lithuania. The business was originally founded 1993 in Tallinn. After the integration with the same type of business, started 2006 in Vilnius, Lithuania, the company changed in 2017 its name to Nomine Consult.

We have in our Estonian and Lithuanian offices more than 30 professional and experienced advisors and consultants, most of them thermal, electrical, heating, ventilation, mechanical, civil and environmental engineers. In both Estonia and Lithuania we are well-known and acknowledged as professional advisory services provider.

We offer to our clients energy and environmental advisory services, owner’s engineering services and verification of greenhouse gas emissions reports. Our services are based on competence and acknowledgement of professional liability.
